Morning Brew hits 2 million subscribers

Business news email newsletter Morning Brew has hit 2 million subscribers, reports chief operating officer Autin Rief.

Rief writes, “Our way of writing news has perhaps never been more vital than it is today. During a time filled with extreme uncertainty, our readers have shared with us how much they rely on Morning Brew as a source of trustworthy information that also brings a smile to their face.

“Hi Brew Crew—just want to say thanks for something to look forward to every morning. I’m an essential worker…and the 24-hour news cycle unfurling an ever-increasing level of hype. So thanks for one constant source of good news.”

“You know what? You guys crush it every single day. Thanks for being a super bright spot in my morning (business) read.”

“If you guys can keep me laughing (and informed) during the craziness of today’s headlines, you’ve really accomplished something… I’m consistently impressed with you guys.”

“While a lot has changed since Alex and I decided against “Pink Sheets” five years ago, it’s messages like these that keep us just as motivated as we were on day 1. Of course, we wouldn’t be anywhere without the Brew Crew—the incredible team we are humbled to work Zoom with each day. And a final thank you to all our partners and our now 2 million readers for putting your trust in us.”
