More collaboration coming across Barron’s Group

Barron’s Group, which comprises Barron’s, MarketWatch.com, Mansion Global and Financial News, will see more collaboration across its publications, reports Sara Guaglione of MediaPost.

Guaglione writes, “The ‘next phase of our growth’ is to collaborate more across the portfolio.

“WSJ Custom Studios, the division behind Dow Jones’ branded content and brand marketing, was rebranded this week: it will now be called The Trust – The Wall Street Journal | Barron’s Group. That’s just one example of the increased collaboration Latour foresees across the group.

“‘Collaboration leads to a better business,’ he said. ‘As we collaborate more, we will be less complex and easier to work with as a group, with a clearer one-stop shop for all aspects of our business.’

“The group chose Barron’s for the name because it is ‘immediately [recognized] in the financial community and other professional communities.’ Barron’s has been around for nearly a century, Latour added.”
