The Modesto Bee newspaper in California unveiled Sunday changes to its Work & Money section, according to a short item in the paper.
Editor Mark Vasche wrote, “In today’s section, you’ll find an expanded focus on personal finance and consumer issues. You’ll find some of your favorites, from Valentino Sabuco’s ‘Your Financial Partner’ to Kathy Kristof and Chuck Jaffe’s ‘Stupid Investment of the Week.’ But we’ve moved the Consumer Reports column and Scam Alert feature to the Sunday lineup.
“New to Sunday is ‘The Motley Fool,’ an entertaining and informative look at investing, and a ‘Kids and Money’ column. And we’ve consolidated the stock listings to make room for a quartet of investing columns: ‘Weekly Wall Street,’ ‘Of Mutual Interest,’ ‘On the Ticker’ and ‘The Week Ahead.’
“Our Tuesday focus on the workplace will include more new features, including Peter Post’s ‘Business Etiquette’ column, a Q&A from a job coach and the first of a weekday ‘Business Buzz’ feature.”
