Modern Healthcare, a Crain publication, has hired Ginger Christ as a reporter to cover post-acute care and staffing.
Christ is based in Northeast Ohio, where she grew up.
Most recently, she wrote about health care and transportation for The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer. Before that, she covered real estate, manufacturing and business news for local newspapers and national magazines, starting in 2007.
She is the co-founder of the Cleveland chapter of the Association of Health Care Journalists and is involved in various efforts to connect and support journalists in her community.
She earned bachelor’s degrees in English writing/journalism and film studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
