Mkandawire joins The Economist as global property correspondent

Vinjeru Mkandawire is now a global property correspondent at The Economist. She joins from The Telegraph where she held the post of senior business reporter covering mergers and acquisitions.

In her new role, Mkandawire will be covering commercial real estate and REITs.

Previously, she was a tech, media and telecoms reporter at S&P Global Market Intelligence. She was also a M&A reporter, tech, media and telecoms at Mergermarket and an editorial intern at Financial Times.

Mkandawire is a graduate of the University of Reading.
