Haley Hansen has been hired by the Lansing (Michigan) State Journal as a business reporter.
Hansen is a South Dakota-raised journalist who worked this summer as an intern for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. She has also interned for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and the Wisconsin State-Journal in Madison.
She is the former managing editor of the Minnesota Daily, the University of Minnesota’s award-winning student newspaper.
She graduated in May 2017 with a degree in journalism and a minor in English.
