Dayna Fields has been hired as a senior reporter with Mergermarket and Dealreporter.
Fields comes from Talcott Publishing, where she served as managing editor of three food-focused B2B publications, including Chef magazine for restaurants and Fancy Food magazine for retailers.
In her role, she cultivated extensive contacts within the food sector and developed expertise in forecasting national food trends.
A Chicago native, Dayna has previously reported for the Chicago Tribune; worked as editor of The Northbrook Tower weekly newspaper; and served as a copy editor for GateHouse News Service. In 2014, she won first place for Best Humorous Column from the National Newspaper Association.
She is a University of Missouri graduate in journalism.
