MarketWatch.com has hired Christine Idzelis to cover markets.
Her first day was Monday.
Idzelis has been at Institutional Investor as a senior writer and editor, covering the asset management industry. She has been there since February 2017.
She previously worked at Investment News, a Crain publication, covering Wall Street wealth management and independent investment advisers.
Idzelis had been at Bloomberg before that, reporting on the U.S. credit markets with a focus on high-yield, high-risk financing. Her coverage included breaking news and enterprise stories on leveraged loans, junk bonds, CLOs and the impact of financial regulation.
Idzelis previously worked at The Deal for six years as a private equity reporter, covering everything from acquisitions to corporate earnings to initial public offerings. Before that, she was a reporter for Institutional Investor for nearly two years.
She is a Boston College graduate.
