Lyons joins Business Insider full time to cover wealth and real estate

Natasha Solo-Lyons is becoming a full-time junior reporter at Business Insider covering wealth and real estate.

She previously has been an editorial fellow.

She will write and edit articles on real estate, investing, and lifestyle, with a focus on the luxury sector and its trends. Prior to joining Business Insider, she was an intern at CNN and Hearst Magazines.

A native New Yorker, Solo-Lyons is a graduate of New York University, where she earned a masters degree in business and economic reporting.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
