Longtime Boston Herald business reporter Donna Goodison has left the daily newspaper.
Goodison, who has 30-plus years of newspaper experience in news, business and feature reporting, had been with the Herald since February 2004.
While at the Herald, Goodison won an award for breaking business news from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and was a member of the newspaper’s business pages team that won a SABEW award for overall section excellence.
She previously earned numerous other reporting and photography awards from the New England Press Association, Massachusetts Press Association and the National Newspaper Association.
Goodison formerly worked as a reporter for the Boston Business Journal, Banker & Tradesman, a weekly newspaper focused on real estate and banking, and community newspapers north of Boston.
She also worked two years as a freelance reporter and columnist for The Boston Globe’s South and West sections.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northeastern University.
