Ming Li has left her post as a data visualization reporter at the Financial Times to join Politico’s data and graphics team, reports Politico.
Li has seven years of journalist experience, covering internet technology, finance, and politics. Previously, she has also worked as a foreign correspondent at Xinhua News Agency North America and has also served as an editor at Xinhua News Agency.
She has also worked at Xinhua News Agency Inner Mongolia and NBC News. She was also an assistant editor at CCTV.
Li graduated from Shandong University and holds a master’s degree in journalism from Fudan University. She holds another master’s degree in public policy and data journalism from Columbia University.
