Las Vegas daily promotes Raz to assistant biz editor

Dan Behringer, the business section editor at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, sent out the following announcement on Thursday:

I am pleased to announce that Nicole Raz has been promoted to the position of assistant business editor.
Nicole has been a valuable employee of the Review-Journal since 2016 and brings creativity and energy to the RJ everyday. While taking on additional duties, Nicole will continue to report on economic development, economic development agencies, the technology scene and the drone industry.

Before joining the Las Vegas paper, Raz was a news reporter for 630 WMAL in Washington.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
