Luke Kawa, a cross-asset reporter for Bloomberg News, is leaving for a job at UBS Asset Management.
He has been at Bloomberg for five years.
Kawa wrote articles on a wide range of asset classes with a macro focus, specializing in rates and volatility. He was responsible for producing a weekly fixed-income newsletter. He also appeared on Bloomberg TV and Radio as a guest and host to discuss markets and the economy.
Before Bloomberg, Kawa worked at The Globe and Mail in Toronto, where he covered investing. He was also the editor and co-founder of Business in Canada.
