Investment Dealer's Digest unveils new web site

Investment Dealer’s Digest rolled out a new web site on Wednesday for the weekly magazine, and has also added a daily e-mail newsletter and a number of new editorial hires.

The web site redesign includes IDD People Database, a tool that allows subscribers to search for hundreds of movers and shakers in the investment banking, private equity, hedge fund and capital markets world in one place.

Editor Tom Granahan has more than 15 years of business reporting and editing experience, having written about the stock market for Dow Jones Newswires and for The Wall Street Journal for several years.

Recent key hires include Managing Editor Aleksandrs Rozens, a veteran reporter who has had stints at Reuters, the Associated Press, Dow Jones and The Deal, and Kelly Holman, IDD’s assistant managing editor, who has covered the private equity industry for a decade, most recently for The Deal, prior to joining IDD in September.

“I’m extremely proud to be at the helm of IDD, one of the finest business publications around today,” said Granahan. “The dissemination of news has changed dramatically since IDD was first launched back in 1935, and one of the results is that readers have more options from which to get their news. Our job is to cut through the clutter and present information that is not only well written and deeply researched, but is also news and analysis our readers need to know.”
