Insider’s Jakola joining Gizmodo as managing editor
Kaitlyn Jakola is all set to depart Insider Inc. where she holds the post of assistant managing editor.
She will start her new job of managing editor at Gizmodo next month. There, she will be working alongside Kelly Bourdet and Andrew Couts.
Previously, Jakola was an adjunct professor at New York University and has also worked as a copy chief at Mic. She has also worked freelance and as a contributing editor. Jakola also held the post of copy-editing intern at Mashable.
Additionally, she has served as a research assistant at Chicago Magazine and worked in an editorial intern capacity at both The Kitsap Sun and Northwestern Magazine.
Jakola holds a bachelor’s degree in science and journalism from Northwestern University.
