Insider has hired Wall Street Journal reporter Nora Naughton as its senior autos reporter.
She will start on Jan. 10.
Naughton has been with The Journal since June 2019 covering Fiat Chrysler, the auto unions and auto retailers.
She previously was a Detroit News auto reporter. Naughton was previously a business development reporter at The Stamford (Conn.) Advocate. Naughton also covered City Hall for the Stamford paper, which she joined in May 2016.
Before that, Naughton worked as a freelance reporter for Automotive News, where she interned for two summers as well.
She’s a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where she was editor in chief of the student newspaper, The Eastern Echo.
