Insider hires Lockwood as a tech reporter

Tasmin Lockwood

Insider has hired Tasmin Lockwood as a technology reporter.

She will start on Monday.

Lockwood has been a technology fellow covering startups and venture capital for the business section of Insider, based in London.

Before Insider, she was a digital journalist at The Northern Echo, a regional paper in the North East of England. An NCTJ-qualified reporter, she has also had bylines in the likes of Wired UK, Refinery29 UK, Screen Shot Magazine, Footprint Magazine and Computer Weekly.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
