Insider has hired Zack O’Malley Greenburg as a features writer.
Greenburg has been senior editor of media and entertainment at Forbes, where he has worked for the past 10 years.
He is the author of four books, including the Jay-Z biography “Empire State of Mind.” His latest, “A-List Angels: How a Band of Actors, Artists and Athletes Hacked Silicon Valley,” was published by Little, Brown.
His work has also appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Vanity Fair, Billboard, Sports Illustrated, Vibe, McSweeney’s and the Library of Congress. A former child actor, Greenburg played the title role in the film “Lorenzo’s Oil” (1992) and arrived at Forbes in 2007 after graduating from Yale with an American Studies degree.
