Insider has hired Alison Brower as its Los Angeles business bureau chief.
She’ll be hiring a team there to cover how tech is transforming Hollywood and the streaming wars.
Brower is currently deputy editor of arts and entertainment coverage at the Los Angeles Times, where she has been since November 2019. Before that, she was deputy editorial director at The Hollywood Reporter for more than five years.
She was also special projects editor at The Reporter, executive editor at Redbook, and acting executive editor and acting editor in chief at Seventeen.
