Business Insider/Insider expanding its editorial team with new hires.
Palmer Haasch has been called in as a full-time junior digital culture reporter for the company. Previously, she was working freelance. Before that, she as with Thrillist working as an entertainment writer.
Haasch has also worked as an editorial intern at Polygon and as a lead junior editor at GLAAD. She was also a columnist for the Minnesota Daily.
Haasch holds a bachelor’s degree in English and French studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Rachel E. Greenspan has been appointed as a digital culture reporter at Insider. Previously, she was a reporter with Time and before that she was an assistant arts and culture editor at Pipe Dream. In addition, she has also worked at EXPLO.
Greenspan holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Binghamton University.
In addition, Ben Goggin has been promoted to the post of senior digital culture editor. Before joining Insider, Goggin was working independently and before that, he was with Inverse working as a culture edition.
Goggin has also worked at Digg and Reed College among other places.
Goggin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Reed College.
