Meg Hargreaves will be joining Industry Dive, which publishes news about 23 different industries, as the new chief operating officer on March 23.
Hargreaves is the founder and principal of Rush River Media.
She is also member of the board of directors at Software & Information Industry Association and still holds the chair of the board of directors at SIA. She is also an advisory board member at The Fresh Toast, which is a lifestyle and health media platform covering the cannabis industry.
Before that, she was the managing director at FiscalNote where she managed all aspects of global content, including licensing and supplier relationships covering print, digital and multimedia assets. Hargreaves also served first as senior vice president and then as chief operating officer at CQ Roll Call.
She was also president at Specialized Information Publishers Association and has also served as a producer and host at Broadband Policy Summit for five years. She was also the vice president and publisher of BNA Subsidiaries LLC.
Additionally, Hargreaves was also vice president at MarketReearch.com and served as director at LexisNexis.
Hargreaves is a B.A. in communications and history from the University of Scranton.
