Amanda Drane will be joining the Houston Chronicle as its new business reporter. She comes from The Berkshire Eagle where she currently holds the post of reporter, reports Politico.
Previously, Drane was working as a reporter for the Daily Hampshire Gazette. She also served as a staff writer at The Valley Advocate and as a freelance writer, photographer for The Republican.
Drane has also held the posts of feature writer and reporter at UMass Research Next and Northampton Media, respectively.
She was also a student writer for MassLive.com.
Drane holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from University of Massachusetts.
