Horti promoted to business editor at Business Insider

Samuel Horti has been promoted to business editor at Business Insider in London.

He previously was an associate editor at Business Insider since June, editing stories on business, tech, finance, retail, and other topics, as well as editing Business Insider’s homepage. He also commissioned freelancers.

Horti previously was a freelancer writing about politics, video games, tech and culture. He was published in New Statesman, Vice, Edge, PC Gamer, IGN, Kotaku, The Telegraph, TechRadar, GamesRadar+, and others.

He was also digital news editor at Property Week.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
