The Hollywood Reporter has promoted Aaron Couch to film editor, overseeing a team of film writers producing news, analysis, investigative pieces, business insights and features.
He will remain the senior editor of Heat Vision, The Reporter’s vertical dedicated to genre film and television. Couch joined the publication in 2013 as an online editor. He was previously contributing as a freelancer.
Couch was also a staff editor, TV at People magazine. He has also interned at The Christian Science Monitor and NPR.
Couch has a B.A. in English and history and a master’s degree in journalism from The University of Kansas.
