Yudith Ho has been named Jakarta bureau chief for Bloomberg News.
She is the first Indonesian to hold the position.
Ho has been with Bloomberg in Jakarta since February 2012. She was original an emerging Asia foreign exchange and bonds reporter. Since February 2015, she has been a speed reporter and deputy bureau chief.
She also worked at DestinAsian Media Group as a staff writer.
Ho holds degrees from the University of Melbourne and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
