Brittany Hite has joined Barron’s as a digital editor.
She previously was senior mobile editor at the Wall Street Journal. While there, Hite developed its push notification strategy and consulted on the redesign of the WSJ app.
She brings significant experience in developing and implementing new editorial formats.
In addition, Hite was one of two senior editors co-managing the 24-hour, 14-member mobile team overseeing the WSJ mobile apps and Apple News. She oversaw the work of editors and producers.
Earlier this year, she was selected to join Poynter’s 2018 Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media, which had more than 600 applicants from around the world for only 28 slots.
She has been at The Journal for more than 10 years and is a graduate of Indiana University.
