Rebecca Robbins will be leaving STAT after more than five years and will be joining The New York Times as a reporter focused on COVID-19 vaccines.
Robbins joined STAT in 2015 as a business reporter and recently held the post of San Francisco health tech correspondent. She has also worked as an intern, reporting for the financial desk at The Washington Post.
She was also with The Harvard Crimson, Harvard University’s daily student newspaper for a little over 3 years, joining as a news reporter, and then serving as managing editor. She was also an intern, reporting for the state desk at The Hartford Courant.
Additionally, she has also served as an intern, reporting on general assignment stories at Santa Barbara Independent.
Robbins is a graduate of Harvard University.
