Brendan Greeley, who most recently was at Bloomberg, has been hired to write for FT Alphaville.
In 2012, he received a New York Press Club award for special events reporting for a Bloomberg Businessweek cover story, “Why Bin Laden Lost.” He has written cover features on the Pentagon’s response to the Ebola epidemic, how to sell soccer cleats, the reinsurance industry since Sept. 11 and Paul Krugman’s Twitter fight with the President of Estonia.
Previously, Greeley was a technology and policy correspondent at The Economist. Greeley also launched, edited, and contributed to the publication’s Babbage blog.
Before joining The Economist, Greeley was “blogger in chief” for the public radio program “Open Source,” a national show distributed by Public Radio International.
