Craig Gordon, the Washington bureau chief for Bloomberg News, is becoming national news editor.
He will start his new position next month in New York.
Gordon has been DC bureau chief since September 2017 and at Bloomberg since August 2013.
He previously was at Politico as managing editor. And he was Newsday’s Washington bureau chief, Pentagon correspondent and White House correspondent. He worked at Newsday for 16 years.
Gordon is a Syracuse University alumnus. He was editor in chief of the student newspaper, The Daily Orange.
