The Information hires Goodman as opinion editor

Jillian Goodman

Tech news site The Information has hired Jillian Goodman as its opinion editor.

Goodman previously was deputy editor at Bloomberg Green, its climate change coverage site.

She also was politics editor, editor of the Etc. section and a staff editor at Bloomberg Businessweek. She founded the Mary Review, which she launched in May 2015.

Goodman previously was an associate editor at Fast Company and an online producer and contributor to New York Magazine.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
