Paul Marcum, the global head of digital video for Bloomberg Media, has left the company to become president of ad agency Truffle Pig, reports Shareen Pathek of Digiday.
Pathek writes, “Marcum, who comes from Bloomberg, where he headed global digital video, was previously a well-known marketing executive at GE, where he helped drive that company’s digitally-focused content strategy. While he was at GE, he connected with Alexander Jutkowitz, CEO of WPP’s SJR Group, which does a lot of GE’s content work. Jutkowitz is now CEO of Truffle Pig.”
During Marcum’s time at Bloomberg Media, the company increased its video audience reach 350 percent year-over-year, driving Bloomberg Media to the top of Comscore’s global rankings for business video publishers.
