Saloni Sardana, former features writer at the Financial Times, has joined Business Insider as the company’s new markets reporter.
Before joining the FT where she covered pensions, insurance, regulation, investments and mortgage features, Sardana was a private banker international reporter for Verdict. There, she wrote breaking news stories and pitched ideas among other tasks.
Sardana has also worked as a journalism intern at News U.K. and as a domain expert, financial news at Dataminr.
In addition, she also served as a commodities market reporter at Reed Business Information and as a content and analytics intern at Haymarket Media Group. Apart from these places, she has also interned at International Press Institute and NDTV.
Sardana graduated from City University London with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in international journalism.
