Stephen Brook of The Guardian writes Thursday that the Financial Times has brought back Tyler Brûlé to write a column and will revamp its weekend section.
Brûlé had been writing for the International Herald Tribune.
Brook wrote, “Brûlé was hired by FT Weekend in 2004 during a previous revamp and wrote a column for more than two years.
“Andrew Davis, the editor of FT Weekend, said: ‘During [Tyler’s] previous spell here the Fast Lane proved extremely popular and I’m sure readers will be glad to see to it return.’
“The revamp to FT Weekend will see all sections of the paper rebranded with the Weekend stamp and is designed to boost sales of the paper on Sundays.
“Fund manager Anthony Bolton has also been hired as a columnist, while the magazine and Life & Style section will undergo a revamp.”
