Financial Times has launched a new board game, Road to Riches. Players will be able to learn the basics of personal finance and contextualize about “talking money matters” with this fun yet competitive board game.

The game, which is the brainchild of 19-year-old former FT intern and Manchester University student Krishan Puvvada, and former World Bank economist and game designer Mario Fischel, challenges two or more players against each other.

Players start with building their future wealth with betting on questions about financial matters and the economy. Then they must decide what to do with the money they have collected — including investing in their own education, saving for retirement and buying or renting a home.

The winner is the first to achieve all of these milestones without going bankrupt.

Secondary schools that register now for free access to FT.com will automatically receive one free copy of Road To Riches which is subject to availability. However, Schools that are already part of the FT Schools Program can request a copy here.

The game can also be purchased here.
