Dave Levinthal, a former reporter at Politico covering lobbying, campaign finance and other political influence issues and co-author of Politico Influence column, will be joining Business Insider.
Recently, he was a federal politics editor and senior reporter and then editor-at-large at the Center for Public Integrity. Before that, he was with Politico and has also served as a politics editorial and communications director at the Center for Responsive Politics.
Levinthal also held the posts of government and politics reporter and political reporter at The Dallas Morning News and The Eagle-Tribune, respectively.
In addition, he was editor at The Daily Orange and served as a staff writer/correspondent at The Tonawanda News.
Levinthal holds a degree in newspaper journalism and political philosophy from Syracuse University.
