FairWarning, a nonprofit online investigative news organization, has named veteran journalist Laurie Udesky an assistant editor as it continues to expand its coverage of safety and health issues facing consumers and workers.
“We’re delighted to welcome Laurie to our hard-working staff,” said Myron Levin, founder and editor of FairWarning. “We know she’ll be a great asset.”

Its original stories and commentaries have appeared in more than 20 newspapers, magazines and broadcast outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Mother Jones, The Orange County Register, The Oregonian, The Kansas City Star, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
