Jim Edwards, who was the founding editor of Business Insider UK and most recently has been editor in chief of news at Insider, is leaving the news organization after more than 10 years.
His last day is Monday.
“I am very proud of the work I have done with everyone at Insider,” he wrote on Twitter. “The people I worked with, hired, supported, encouraged, edited, and otherwise stepped out of the way of, have done some amazing things.”
Edwards joined Business Insider in November 2011 as a senior editor in New York. He moved to London in June 2014 to launch the UK edition. In September 2017, he become editor in chief of Business Insider UK and International.
Edwards previously was a columnist for CBS Interactive, and managing editor and senior editor for Adweek. He was also a senior writer for the New Jersey Law Journal and a senior writer for Brill’s Content.
