Jane Bennett Clark
Jane Bennett Clark, a senior editor at Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, died Friday after being hit by a bicycle, reports Martin Weil of the Washington Post.
Weil writes, “The Kiplinger site said Clark covered ‘all facets of retirement’ and wrote a bimonthly column that took a fresh and sometimes provocative look at approaches to life after a career.
“In addition, the website said Clark oversaw Kiplinger’s annual rankings for best values in colleges. She also played a prominent role in producing each year’s ‘Best Cities’ feature.
“Her Twitter biography described her as the mother of three children.
“Her death was a ‘devastating loss’ to her friends and neighbors, a Takoma Park resident said.”
