The Economist technology and business editor Tamzin Booth has been hired by Brunswick Group as a partner in its London office to advise global clients in the technology, media and telecoms sector.
Booth recently served as technology and business editor. Prior to this, she served as a business editor. She was also Tokyo bureau chief for three years and before that covered European business for the newspaper, based in Paris. Before that she was media editor, based in London.
Booth had been with the Economist since 2001. She previously worked at The Wall Street Journal and Institutional Investor magazine.
She has also worked in equity research at Salomon Brothers in Hong Kong, specializing in banking, and prior to that she was a trainee chartered accountant at Coopers Lybrand in London.
