Sue-Lin Wong, a reporter at the Financial Times, has been hired by the Economist as its China correspondent.
She has been working out of the FT bureau in Shenzhen for the past year.
Wong had previously been with Reuters since September 2014. She previously freelanced for The New York Times, Reuters, Foreign Policy, and The Atlantic, among other publications in China and Australia.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Australian National University.
