Charles Gasparino of the Fox Business Network believes that it’s Bess Levin, the snarky editor of Dealbreaker.com, who is portraying Goldman Sachs PR person Lucas Van Praag on Twitter.
“In an interview, Levin said ‘I will neither confirm nor deny’ involvement in the tweets, which have become a sensation on Wall Street trading desks and financial bloggers.
“Van Praag has gained notoriety over the past year for using colorful, and at times disdainful, retorts to questions from reporters about Goldman’s business practices. He didn’t immediately return a call for comment.”
