Amy Plitt, editor of Curbed New York, was on furlough and now is being laid off.
Her last working day is July 31.
Plitt has held the post of editor at the company for more than four years while continuing to work as a freelance writer and editor for more than eleven years.
She has also served as digital editor at Conde Nast Traveler and worked for more than eight years at Time Out New York, holding several positions, including editorial coordinator, associate editor, This Week in New York editor and senior editor.
She was also customer service rep at Humana Press. In addition, she is also the author of “Subway Adventure Guide: New York City.”
Plitt is a B.A. in communications from Marymount Manhattan College.
