A.D. Quig has joined Crain’s Chicago to cover city and state politics.
Quig joins Crain’s from The Daily Line, which was formerly called Aldertrack, a Chicago-focused newsletter and website that covers political news related to the city’s land developers, contractors, lobbyists, and other powerful individuals. The Daily Line expanded coverage to Springfield, IL in 2017.
She was formerly a reporter/producer at WSBT in South Bend, Indiana; NPR’s daily call-in current events show, Talk of the Nation; the national politics podcast Ken Rudin’s Political Junkie; and at the Chicago radio startup, Rivet.
Quig is a 2012 graduate of Indiana University’s School of Journalism, with a focus on political science and radio.
