Peter Frost has joined Crain’s Chicago Business as a reporter on the food and beverage beat.
A story on its website states, “Mr. Frost, 35, previously was a health care reporter on Chicago Tribune’s business staff. He joined Tribune in January 2012 after four years on the shipbuilding beat at the Daily Press of Newport News, Virginia.
“He’s got real-world business experience, too: Before getting his master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School in 2005, he was an analyst in the buying office of Marshall Field’s (Target Corp.) for three years in Minneapolis. A native of Minnesota, he has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota.
“‘Pete has proven himself to be a tough competitor and someone with a sharp eye,’ says Michael Arndt, Crain’s editor. ‘He’ll elevate our coverage of this mission-critical beat.'”
