Zoe Sagalow has been hired as the insurance reporter for CQ Roll Call’s legal and regulatory product, CQ Legal.
Sagalow will report to Keith White, director of legal and regulatory products. CQ Legal stories are published on Thompson Reuters’ Westlaw database. CQ Roll Call is part of FiscalNote, which offers a variety of data and other products. It acquired CQ Roll Call from The Economist Group in August.
The beat will include state insurance regulation.
“I’m curious to dive into the push and pull between regulators and businesses on issues that affect both consumers and firms,” Sagalow wrote to Talking Biz News in an email.
Sagalow was previously a reporter for Tax Notes Today, a trade publication for the tax industry, where she did data reporting, covered general assignment federal tax topics and wrote about the business of tax law and tax accounting practices.
