Consumer Reports announced Thursday that it will launch a television show on Telemundo early next year.
The show, called “Taller del Consumidor,” will be a weekly, half-hour program that gives people information they need to make everyday decisions and tips to get more out of the products and services they already own.
Mainly shot on-site in Consumer Reports’ state-of-the-art labs and 327-acre auto test-track, Taller del Consumidor features host Jack Rico, along with Consumer Reports experts and everyday consumers.
The English-language version of the show, called “Consumer 101,” debuted on NBC in October and airs there Saturday mornings.
“The value Consumer Reports has had in my life has been immeasurable,” said Rico in a statement. “From the first car I purchased to the appliances I purchased for my first home, I relied on Consumer Reports’ testing and reporting. The trust I have in Consumer Reports is why I am proud to be a part of this show.”
“Taller del Consumidor” will air on Saturday mornings on Telemundo beginning Jan. 5, and be available on demand.
