Steve Henson, managing editor of the Pueblo Chieftain in Colorado, writes Sunday about why the paper has decided to keep its stock listings the way they have been published in recent years.

Henson wrote, “Slightly more than half of those who responded asked us to leave things as they are. Many of those indicated that they don’t own computers, have no interest in buying one and use our listing to track their investments.

“So, for the foreseeable future, we’ll keep the stock listings as they are.

“As for the rest of our business section, we will continue to focus on local and regional businesses and business trends. We also are expanding our coverage of consumer issues, such as problems in the mortgage industry.”
