I am excited to announce an addition to CNNMoney’s international team.
Daniel Shane will be joining us in Hong Kong as a reporter, starting in September.
For the last two years, Daniel has been a staff writer at Barron’s in Hong Kong, covering investment and market trends for the online and print publication.
Previous experience includes leading a team of reporters at Asia Asset Management, and writing about business in the Middle East for a Dubai-based publication.
Daniel will report to CNNMoney Asia Editor Jethro Mullen.
His appointment will allow us to extend our reporting on Asia, in particular our coverage of Chinese markets and how regional companies and investors are reacting to shifts in the global landscape.
Please join me in welcoming Daniel to CNN.
