CNBC’s “Squawk Box” is getting a new executive producer

CNBC has named Max Meyers executive producer of “Squawk Box,” effective Oct. 23, reports A.J. Katz of TVNewser.com.

Katz writes, “Meyers had been executive producer of Fast Money for the past three years, and will now oversee the network’s signature program.

“Longtime Squawk Box senior ep Matthew Quayle is taking on a new role at the network:  Senior executive producer of program development for business news.

“Quayle helmed Squawk Box for 13 years. He also helped launch the program, which celebrates 23 years on air later this month.

“Halftime Report ep Jason Gewirtz becomes interim ep of Fast Money until a permanent replacement is named.”
