CNBC wins two Gracie Allen awards

Business news cable network CNBC has won two Gracie Allen Awards, one each in the documentary and talk show categories, according to an announcement Wednesday.

“The Suze Orman Show” won for outstanding talk show. Executive producers are Suze Orman and Amy Feller.

And “Greenspan: Power, Money & The American Dream” won in the mid-length documentary category. The reporter for the show was Maria Bartiromo.

The 33rd annual Gracie Allen Award winners were announced by the American Women in Radio and Television. The national winners will be presented at a black-tie gala at the New York Marriot Marquis on Wednesday, May 28.

The Gracie Allen Awards recognize and encourage positive and realistic portrayals of women in entertainment, commercials, news, features, and other programs.
